Intoxicated friend?
Despite the fact that I felt like I was baking in the sun for an hour and couldn't see most of the crash scene, it was still a good presentation. A point that was made was that many people end up in drunk driving crashes because they wont refuse to get in the car with their intoxicated friend or parent. I wouldn't get in the car with a friend, but who really says no to their parent? It's a difficult choice to make. What would you do?

Creature from the Black Lagoon?
Uhh... I'd have to give it about a 3.5 because while it was a unique movie for that decade, many of the characters had typical personalities or stereotypical character designs. The native people who lived along the Amazon river (territory of the creature) looked exactly like Mowgli from the jungle book...despite the movie taking place in the 1950's...There was only one female in the movie, and she was given the personality of the careless, submissive, damsel in distress who swims in lakes with feral animals. And at the end as usual, the good looking protagonist saves the previous female from the evil creature of the black lagoon when they invaded his home in the first place...I'm glad I live in the era that i do.

The 4th Marking Period
I just want to learn how to change a tire on a car. I've been in the Auto Shop all year and I haven't learned anything that will help me if my future car shuts down.

Spring Break
I decided what to do with my life over break. Even though I can go to Bergen Community College for free, I am not going to go there because while I would save a lot of money, it would be high school all over again because I would see EVERYONE that I have been repeatedly seeing for the past four years, and I would still live with my mom...I decidedto go to The College of New Jersey because while I might end up $100,000 dollars in debt, I could pursue my career path of interactive multimedia,(game design, television graphics, etc.), and get out of my comfort zone for once in my life. People should do what makes them happy, despite the risk.

Mid-Terms...The Best Week Ever
Even though I'm pretty sure that I failed my sign-language exam with flying colors, and wasted my time writing a 1,200 word essay that my teacher isn't going to read, this was the best week ever. Most of my mid-terms were already done beforehand so I only came to school one day last week. I stayed inside of my house for five days straight.

It's A New Year!
When the new year finally arrived, it struck an epiphany within me and realized that I have to change some aspects of my life. One thing I really need to change are my sleeping habits. On a school day, I usually go to bed at around 2:30 a.m., wake up at 6:45 and go to back to sleep for another 15 minutes because I'm so tired, and then I feel fatigued for the rest of the day. Then due to that exhaustion, I end up going home to take a four hour nap, and then actually go to bed at 2:30 again because I feel too riled up. I realized that this lifestyle is ruining me because I always feel stressed out in the morning and I barely get to have any "me" time because I"m spending it sleeping. My new year's resolution is to not take naps anymore because I'll feel way more energized throughout the day, and because I have taken into account that this is probably going to be the easiest year of my life until I hit the retirement age of 69.
